HITEC® 3140 APPLICATION
fuel additive utilizes Afton’s patented mmt® octane improver to allow refiners to optimize production by reducing energy consumption and refinery emissions while maintaining gasoline octane quality. Use of HiTEC can therefore also increase gasoline pool octane quality without increased energy consumption, providing the most cost effective means to meeting specification, and marketing, octane quality requirements.
HITEC® 3140 RECOMMENDED DOSAGE
Is easy to handle and is ready to use, requiring no further dilution. The recommended treat-rate is 250ml per 40L of gasoline. This is equivalent to 6250ppmv.
At this treat-rate HiTEC® will provide significant octane enhancement and will keep injectors and inlet valves clean and free from deposit build up.
